Enrichment Program at Cherry Hills Christian School
We have a number of Enrichment opportunities for students at Cherry Hills Christian School. We believe God has gifted all students with strengths in a variety of different ways and we want to give students the opportunity to grow and be challenged in their areas of strength.

A weekly pullout program for grades 1-5 designed to challenge high achieving students. Student enrollment is based on the Standardized Test scores, teacher recommendations, in-class performance, and parent permission.

Education Program For Gifted Youth (EPGY Math and Writing Program)

A self-paced online Math and Language Arts/Writing program designed to enhance learning for high achieving students.

Redbird Advanced Learning Math Program (The New Version of EPGY)

A self-paced online Math program designed to enhance learning for high achieving students.

Superstar Math

Superstar Math is an enhancement program for grades K-5, and provides an extra challenge for self-motivated students in mathematics.

Cranium Club

This is a club for students who are interested in achieving "above and beyond" the normal classroom expectations. Students learn about a chosen topic, and then tell their teacher and/or their classmates what they have learned.

Lion Book Club

Students choose a book from three selections, read the novel on their own time, and meet once a month during lunch to discuss the book and engage in other book-related activities (grades 2/3 and 4/5).

Roaring Readers Book Reviews

Students are invited to share book reviews on our Roaring Readers Blog, these reviews can be submitted in any format.

Roaring Writers Blog

Students are invited to share a story they have written, collaborate on a story with other students in the school online, or comment on stories written by other students.

Independent Project Based Learning

Independent projects are assigned for students who need additional challenge. These projects are Inquiry-based and result in a project that will be presented to their classmates.

Destination Imagination

A parent led, after school program that invites student teams to solve open-ended challenges and bring their solutions to a state-wide tournament.

Spelling Bee

The students compete in a school-wide and the top spellers continue on to a regional Spelling Bee.

Math Olympics
-
Students compete online and then the top students continue on to the regional Math Olympics competition.
